Started in 1969 by the Colorado PTA President Mary Lou Anderson, Reflections has encouraged millions of students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts.  More than 200,000 students participate annually in the Reflections Program. Any PTA in good standing is eligible to sponsor Reflections on their campus.

What is the PTA Reflections Program?
The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students in preschool through grade 12. Where can I find Entry Forms and Participation Rules?
All Reflections Entry Forms and Participation Rules are available on the link at the bottom of this page.

How can parents support their students in the Reflections program?
Make sure your children's submission adheres to the rules. Support your child in working independently (done with minimal supervision) to create an original piece of art inspired by the theme "I am hopeful because...". Ensure your child articulates and explains how their artwork relates to the theme on the Artist's Statement located on the entry form.
