A heartfelt thank you to Haley M. and her amazing team, Raegan M., Crystal R., Dani H., and Ivette R., for their incredible work on the school bulletin boards this year. It’s a big task, and we truly appreciate your time, effort, and creativity. 

Sign Up Parties at Griffin Elementary are lively, themed gatherings organized by families in the school community to unite neighbors, spark new friendships, and support the school. Each event is open to all, featuring creative themes and activities designed for every age group. Every dollar raised helps fund Griffin Elementary PTA initiatives in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

This years auction committee has our first meeting on August 21st at 10:00 am. In order to make our auction bigger and better than last year we need your help and we have so many ways to get involved! 

We need help with:

• Brainstorming new ideas
• Soliciting donations
• Picking up donations
• Updating the auction website
• Writing thank you notes

Order your 2026 yearbook! We have an amazing year ahead of us at MGE, and our yearbook will capture all the big events of the school year. Order now before the price goes up ($45 through 9/12/25). Order today so you won't regret it in May! 

MGE Parents & Families - we want YOU to join the MGE PTA for the 2025-2026 school year to help our kids have the best year possible. Registration is now open, you can easily join at www.joinpta.org.

A few important reminders: 

-All family members are welcome and invited to join the MGE PTA! Don’t forget to purchase memberships for both parents, grandparents, etc. 

-Joining the MGE PTA is a great way to show school support and allows you to attend membership meetings. A portion of every membership goes directly into programming, and helps with educational advocacy at the state level by Texas PTA. 

Please create an account by going to www.mgepta.org. This will give you the opportunity to publish your information in the school directory. At MGE students are NOT allowed to send birthday invitations to school. The directory will allow you to have access to student's contact information in your child's class. Please make sure you have updated your account with your teacher name.  

5th grade parents!!! It is time to celebrate our 5th grade Grizzlies. The 5th grade party fund includes a commemorative Fifth Grade Class T-shirt and a ticket to the the Fifth Grade End of Year Party. Purchase online before August 25th to guarantee a 5th grade T-shirt.
